Please help to fund an egg donation cycle

Hi guys, my name is Rebecca and my Fiancé’s name is Daryl and we are looking to fundraise money for an egg donation cycle. In 2013 when I was 20 years old, I found out I was pregnant. We were both very delighted at the thought of having a baby together. On our 20 week scan, we found out that our baby girl had cysts on her kidneys, it didn’t seem all that serious but had further check ups to make sure that it wasn’t anything sinister. Later on it showed that she had poly cystic kidneys that was untreatable, therefore our beautiful baby passed away shortly after being born at 38 weeks. Our world was crushed. After some genetic testing, we found out we both carry a very rare genetic disease called poly cystic kidney disease. If we became pregnant, the chances of our child having the condition is 1 in 4.

We have been trying for years afterwards to fall pregnant again. Finally, in 2017 I fell pregnant again. At 15 weeks I had genetic testing and found out the baby had the same condition. We decided to go through ivf as I have found it extremely difficult to fall pregnant and they would be able to see if the embryo has the genetic condition before being implanted. I had 3 ivf rounds, all of them unfortunately unsuccessful as my AMH levels are very low for my age, my eggs are also of poor quality. This was not great news to hear after all of the heartache we have endured. We have had 8 years of heartache but we are not giving up.

After meetings with the doctors at the ivf clinic, our best option is to use donated eggs that can be fertilised with my Fiancé’s sperm so I can carry our baby. This gives us the best chance to have the miracle we both are so desperate for.
