Hello,

I'm shaving off my dreadlocks that I have been growing for 13 years and trying to raise as much money as I can for the UK charity Mind.

I'm doing this because recently my Granddad has got dementia and he is getting confused and anxious about pretty much everything and it is depressing to see him like this. As horrible as it is for me to see him like this, I know he is well looked after living with my parents and having familiar surroundings. He also has me, my brother and sister to help him out all the time.

Its made me think about the people who have this and other mental illnesses but without having a close family around them to keep them comfortable. If my granddad was in that situation he would become very distressed and confused about what is going on daily.

Mind is a charity that dedicates its time to supporting people with mental illnesses and relies on donations to keep on going.

Please give as much as you can.
