Ukrainian Army Spec. Forces Vehicle

Dear Friends,
While we wait for Europe to condemn Russian aggression in Ukraine one more time and for the Obama administration to continue closing their eyes on America’s international law obligations, we will continue to lose innocent Ukrainian lives together with Ukrainian independence.
While Russia continues to pour heavy artillery and modern weaponry into Ukraine, Ukrainian soldiers continue to defend their country with all that they have, and they don’t have much….. Today the soldiers need our help more than ever.
I was contacted by the major of the Ukrainian Army Special Forces battalion. This battalion was created only six months ago but has already served two terms in the Eastern Ukraine Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO). The main mission of the battalion is to fight against sabotage and reconnaissance enemy groups as well as opposition of sabotage and terrorist acts within the ATO region. Currently these soldiers complete their tasks with only one vehicle that’s a little over 30 years old. Unfortunately this vehicle is very unreliable and is not able to support the battalion in the dangerous assignments they are faced with every day. There have been multiple occurrences where the battalion had to immediately evacuate to a safer area from the place of their assignment due to the offensive from the aggressor’s side but was unable to do that because of this old junky vehicle.
Multiple times the soldiers have put in requests to the Ukrainian government to provide them with a more reliable vehicle but these requests remain unanswered. Their only hope is crowdfunding from people like us.
Every day I read the horrifying news from Ukraine of how Russia is slowly paralyzing Ukraine and killing innocent people. Every day I think about how I can help Ukraine counter the Russian aggression. If you think in the same way, please donate to this fund and help us help Ukraine. After we reach our fundraising goal, the funds will be transferred to Lvivska Samooborona Volunteer Organization. These volunteers are able to purchase these vehicles in Poland and bring them into Ukraine free of import fees. This will be the most cost-effective and reliable way of getting the vehicle to the battalion.
