MISSING PERSON - HURRICANE DORIAN

My name is Antoinette Richard and I am a Canadian Citizen, living in Montreal.
Following Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas last week, my mother-in-law, Claudene Byfield Etienne is still missing. She lives in Marsh Harbour, in the Abaco Islands. Claudene has three kids, Danique and Danielle, her daughters, and Romar, her only son, who is my partner.
Claudene is originally from Jamaica but moved to the Bahamas over 10 years ago to work and be able to provide for her family. Since, her hard work has allowed her to send her daughters to University back in Jamaica and Romar to a Culinary School in Ontario, Canada.
The last time we heard from Claudene was last Sunday around 6AM, when she sent a text to Romar saying "Good Morning". When he tried to call her afterwards, the phone lines were already down.
We do know that she found shelter before the hurricane arrived in a church or a government complex close to her home. But since then, we haven't been able to reach her or to find any solid information on her whereabouts. Since the island is still being evacuated, our hope is that she is waiting to be rescued.
The past week has been very difficult for us, as you can imagine. We have not given up hope of finding Claudene healthy and well and Romar and I will be going to Nassau as soon as possible to find her and help as many people as we can along the way.
We are asking for your help to build Claudene a new future. We will need essentials like food, water and clothes, we will also have to find a new home for Claudene and equipment for her to be able to start working again as a dressmaker. Anything you are able to give helps.
