Minnehaha Support/Rebuilding Fund

Tragedy has struck the Minnehaha Academy family. We must now come together as alumni, family and friends to support and rebuild our school.
On the morning of August 2, 2017, a gas leak resulted in an explosion that leveled a major section of the upper school building, and took the lives of two dedicated members of the Minnehaha Academy family: Ruth Berg and John Carlson. Many others were injured, some severely.
The rich Christian tradition of Minnehaha Academy and all that it stands for means so much to so many of us. Let us all now stand shoulder to shoulder with the families of the victims, offer them our fervent prayers and support, and band together to build an even better Minnehaha Academy for current students and generations to come.

My story: I am a 1989 Minnehaha graduate. My mother is a Minnehaha graduate. My three younger siblings are all Minnehaha graduates. My sister and her husband are current Minnehaha teachers. My closest friendships (that continue to this day) were formed at Minnehaha. Many of you have similar stories.
Our collective hearts are broken for the families of those lost and injured, and for the school and community we love. We can all do SOMETHING to help in this time of shock and mourning. Every act of help, big or small, matters. Choose your means of helping and ACT. #MinnehahaStrong.
