Memorial Fund for Boyd R Petersen

This amazing man has left this world far too soon. Boyd was an avid camper, fisherman, hiker and lover of all things outdoors. Last year when the California wildfires burned so much of the Stanislaus National Forest in the Sierras, Boyd was devastated. Our favorite camping was at Clark's Fork and his favorite fishing spot was just beyond Dardanelle, CA. 

Pennies for Pines is this amazing program, where for every $68 that is donated, an acre is reforested in Boyd's name.  This campaign goal, if reached, will reforest 15 acres. If the goal is exceeded, even more acreage will be replanted in his name.

If you would like to make a donation in his memory and to honor the avid outdoorsman that he was, you can give to this Memorial Fund. 

I will manage the fund and donate it to the Stanislaus National Forest in his name through the program. Once they plant the acres in his name, they will notify me and I will notify all those who gave to this fund. 

Boyd was truly the most amazing man I have ever met, talented at everything, literally everything, generous, kind, fun-loving, sentimental, and loving. We shared a love for the outdoors. This is a perfect way to honor him.
