Lucien's Transition Fund

Hi friends! I want to finally make my transition dreams a reality. My name is Lucien and I am a black trans man creating this fund so I can finally be able to legally change my name and get top surgery :)

Being trans is one of the most difficult but best things about living. Some days, all I can see is my lack of validity in being a man, and other days I can't stop thinking about how I would never change a single thing about this. The wonderful people I've met and the amazing experiences I've had. Top surgery is a dream that would help alleviate my thoughts of not "being man enough". Living out for almost six years, my chest is something that creates immense disdain and I know that this surgery would allow me to live more freely and comfortably. 

Changing my name costs about 500 dollars and is especially important considering how much confidence my name gives me. It's such a huge part of one's identity and being able to live my truth is crucial.
