MI Capital Area Police Unity Team

The Michigan Capital Area Police Unity Team is a group of Law Enforcement Officers from around the Lansing, MI area.
The members of the team are participating in a charity bicycle ride from New Jersey to Washington, DC in May 2015, and are in need of donations.
The purpose of the ride is to raise awareness of Law Enforcement Officers killed in the line of duty. This year the team will ride in memory of Ingham County Sheriff Deputy Grant Whitaker, E.O.W. 12/7/14.
The secondary purpose of the ride is to raise funds for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, DC.
The team consists of members from:
· Ingham County Sheriff’s Office
· Lansing Police Department
· Eaton County Sheriff’s Office
· Michigan State University Police Department
· Carson City Police Department
