Kirsty and Aimee's Scouts Wheely Big Abseil

Aimee and I will be completing the Scouts Wheelie Big Abseil at the Falkirk Wheel on 21st March.  We are raising money for 7th Perthshire Scout Group (Methven) towards the upkeep of our Group and the purchase of the Store.

Aimee has been in Scouting since starting Beavers 4 years ago and I have been involved since then too as an Exec Member, Treasurer and Parent Helper.

7th Perthshire Scout Group has been running in Methven for as long as we can remember. Our group has a Beaver Colony, a Cub Pack and a Scout Troop, hundreds of children from the village and surrounding villages have benefited from it for many years.  We are the largest voluntary organisation in the village and currently have around 75 children and young people attending regularly and it has been running at full capacity for over 7 years.  The group is run solely by volunteers, most of which are from the village or surrounding area and have children who attend one of the sections.

We are trying to raise enough money to buy the building we use a store.  So far, this fundraising has been going incredibly well and we thought the abseil would be a fun and challenging way for us to continue on our fundraising journey.
