Fighting for Baby Kamren

This is Denise & her baby Kamren Jace. He was born December 23, 2014. Right now he is less than a month old and has been through more than people go through in a lifetime. He was recently diagnosed with Ohtahara syndrome. This is a very rare epilepsy syndrome. Seizures start before three months of age. Most babies have an underlying structural brain abnormality.  They are very floppy and excessively sleepy  and often have difficulty with feeding. With time they may develop stiffness in the limbs. They also make very little developmental progress and remain totally dependent. They often feed poorly. Sadly, they often die within the first two years of life, because of complications, including repeated chest infections. Those who do survive are usually severely disabled and will continue to have seizures despite treatment.

Denise is not only an amazing mother to baby Kamren, she is  SuperMom, having a 5 year old daughter who brings light to her family's darkest days.  Denise is a mother many women strive to be like everyday. Her and Kamren's father, Johnny, would trade places with their son in a heartbeat if they could. Their beautiful family doesn't break when struggles pass through, they pray and pray, and then, when they face their biggest mountain they have left to climb, they pray some more. They are giving people, and good people, people that have faith. 

I am asking from the depths of my soul to please find it in your heart to donate to this young family, even  $1. They are about to embark on their most difficult life journey and financial obligations shouldn't be a concern for them. We are looking to raise money to help offset any and all cost they might encounter while the Fight for Kamren continues.
