#justicefornicolas This is my cousin. He was the victim in the pedestrian hit/run on Lakeshore on March 18th.
Nicolas Emmerson Andali had to be intubated, on a feeding tube, has a broken shoulder blade, clavicle, lacerated spleen, brain bleed, along with many other superficial wounds.
He today, (after nearly a week in Critical Care in London) is being cared for 24/7 at home as he still cannot walk unassisted, or shower on his own, or tolerate sunlight, commotion or other stimuli. There is a hospital bed and wheelchair in his home to accommodate his needs. He suffers from nightmares and is in constant pain from head to toe. Who knows what the future holds for this young man.
Unfortunately, he is unable to work due to this tragedy and my aunt Linda Hachey is providing care 24 hours a day 7 days a week for the duration of his recovery. She has been covering the cost associated with his day to day living and that alone is expensive nevermind when recovering from something like this. If you are
willing and able to donate to my cousin and aunt, it would be greatly appreciated.
