John and Julianne had the kind of love most of us only dream of. They first met in elementary school where coincidentally Julianne's mom was John's 3rd and then 5th grade teacher. They lost touch growing up and reconnected just as John was joining the Army. Julianne went to meet John again at his graduation from basic training, and the rest is history.
John deployed twice in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. His awards and decorations include the Purple Heart Medal, Bronze Star, and many many more.
Julianne & John just celebrated their 8th anniversary in September and have two beautiful kids together, Lena (5) and Gavin (4). They would Skype any chance they had during his deployment and had spoken last just the day before the unimagineable happened. The love between these two was undeniable and Julianne and John are just two of the sweetest, sweetest people.
On November 12, 2016 John and three others were killed by an attack carried out by a suicide bomber. This young family is in need of all the love and support they can get through this tragedy. The donations raised will be used to pay for any short term/unforeseen expenses the family experiences in the future. Julianne also plans to donate anything in excess of what her & her children may need, to a their children's elementary school in John's name. Let's please lift this young family in prayer and continue to share their story, helping them out every step of the way in any small way we can!
