Scout needs medical care

My name is Mike.  My family and I love animals, we currently have several horses.  We have a good relationship with the local animal shelter, sometimes we need them and sometimes they need us.  On Sunday, December 14th 2014 we got a call from them asking us for help.  Scout a paint gelding had made his way back to the animal shelter for the third time.  Two previous owners had let him down and did not give him the care he needed.  We immediately went to look at him.  When we first saw him, it was a horriffic sight, his left eye was gone (due to some type of cancer of the eye) and much of the tissue arround the eye was dead and infected.  My family and I knew we had to help.  Scout needed us.  He needs surgery to remove the dead tissue, lots of antbiotics and many months of wound care.  Will you please help us to help scout.  He will not go back to the animal shelter!
