Istanbul Contest Trip

This year has been quite a ride with my new job in a middle school.  I have had the privilege of working with the most amazing students.  I have had the chance to offer them opporunities that could change their lives.  One such opportunity was the Atlantic Institute Art and Essay Contest that I presented to two of my most self-directed and motivated students.  The theme was "How does Social Media Change the Future of our World?" First, second, and third place winners win an all expense paid trip to Turkey.  On Saturday, March 15th, at the awards ceremony, the 7th grader's jaw dropping piece came in 8th place, and the meticulously detailed drawing by my 8th grade student won second place! This student will now have the most amazing experience in another country, bridging the cultural gap at only 14 years of age.  The perk is that I get to go too!  All expenses are paid by the Atlantic Institute, however, we are responsible for our round-trip airfare and administration fees.  I am asking for your help in getting me and my student to Turkey so that she can have the opportunity of a lifetime, and I can share in this awesome experience.  No amount is too small and every ounce of help is immensely appreciated!  Thank you for your generosity and support!
