In Memoriam for Capt Evens Girard

Donation protected

Capt Evens Girard served in the Canadian Forces for over 39 years. He has spent the last 9 years with CANSOFCOM as the 427 SOAS Recruiting Officer. He was a kind and welcoming man, who had the ability to make people feel at ease in his presence. Evens always looked out for others both in the military and civilian communities. He was a mentor and friend to many.  Evens loved to fish, hunt, work on his horse farm (Otterson Lake Farm), and travel with his wife Debbie. He will be sorely missed. In loving memory of his passing, the family has requested that if you would like to make a donation in his honour,  they can be made to Military Family Services CANSOFCOM Petawawa via this page or you may make arrangements to drop off directly to Military Family Services.

Military Family Services provides immediate support to military families in times of crisis and need. They serve as a conduit for providing access to internal and external resources when they are needed most.  All funds will go towards the family crisis and support fund. Please contact MFS Petawawa at [phone redacted] if you would like an official tax receipt.
