Hello family/friends! I thank you for all of your loving contributions and support as I participate in the Roanoke Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta's 2015 Jabberwock Program.
The Jabberwock represents an evening of elegance and entertainment that showcases the gifts and talents of myself and the other young women participating in the program, while advancing the goals and objectives of Delta's scholarship program. Throughout the process we raise money that will go towards the Roanoke Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta's scholarship Program. The Delta Jabberwock will give me the oppourtunity to experience educational and social opportunities and will culminate in an evening of elegance on May 1, 2015.
I have been waiting for years to compete in this meaningful competion. Phazhon Nash who is in the 9th grade at Northside Highschool will serve as my escort. The Sisters of the Roanoke Alumnae Chapter of Delta SIgma are near and dear to me. My mom and Delta aunties have been my role models since I was a little girl and I am honored to represent them in such a meaningful and important project.
My family and friends have provided me with love and support throughout the years and have stood by my side through my illnesses and accomplishments. I am asking you to continue to support me in this endeavor through a financial contribution to help me reach my personal goal of $5,000.00 or more. The contestant who raises the most money will be crowned Miss Jabberwock of 2015. Monetary contributions are welcome and can be accepted on this site.
A college eductaion is important to me and I have a dream to attend Spelman College. If I am crowned Miss Jabberwock 2015 I would receive a percentage of my earnings back and be able to use them towards my college expenses. That is where you, my family and friends, come in. I cannot do this alone and I am asking and thanking you for all of your help, support, prayers, and loving generosity throughout this process. All contributions are appreciated.
The following levels of giving have been established and your name will appear in our program under your specific contribution level.
LEVELS OF GIVING:
· Contributors: $1 to $99
· Ruby $100 - 249
· PEARL $250 - $499
· DIAMOND $ 500
· PRESIDENT'S CIRCLE $1,000 - Individual Contribution.
Note: This group will sit in a special place with the President of the Sorority and will be recognized at intermission
