Help Kim Darville wife of Derek Riggs

We are starting this Go Fund Me to try to help our friend Kim get her life back.

She hasn’t had any bottom teeth since March 2nd. Kim was originally supposed to get implanted dentures, but on the day of the surgery, they told her that she did not have enough bone to support the procedure. She had paid up front for the dental work, which included bone grafting. Since the plan had changed, she figured that at least she would be getting the money back for the grafting.

She found out after, that the periodontist had done the grafting anyway, so she would not be getting any refunds. Kim has been told by two dentists that the grafting was not necessary, and because it was done badly, Kim now needs oral surgery to correct the problem. It also seems that false teeth will not be an option. The oral surgeon says that Implants are very doable, however, and he and her new dentist have come up with a great plan. Their solution is as good as having her real teeth back. Kim is afraid to get excited about it, for expense is the limiting factor. A large percentage of income she'd normally earn through vending at comic and horror conventions has halted due to the ongoing pandemic. We need this option to be possible.

So, we are asking for help to give Kim her teeth back.

It is going to cost $45,000 for the bottom teeth, and then another $15,000 to fix the top.

We are asking for at least $10,000, which is what she paid out of pocket for the initial botched procedure.

It really would be like a dream come true for Kim at this point.

We want to see her smile again.
