Help Jeff with medical costs

My name is Chris and I'm putting together a GoFundMe page from my dear friend, you could even say my brother Jeff Guzman who has been going through several serious surgeries recently including back, right hip and soon left hip. This surgeries have kept and will keep Jeff out of work at least until the new year. As you can imagine the toll of the procedures is quite costly and the mental state of mind of being cooped up in the house can be overwelming. Thanks to Jeff's wife Jill, his family, friends and great music, he is getting by but he could use our help. Jeff and I became friends about 30 years ago and our love of Hardcore music made us closer. Jeff's band At All Cost who tore up the local scene from 1987 - 1991shared the stage with some big names in the scene such as Maximum Penalty, Vison, Token Entry, Cromags and Subzero. I understand that when some people see a GoFundMe page they can be skeptical or even turned off by the idea but I have decided to try to help my brother the best way I can think of.
