Help Anthony Saia Crush Leukemia

Hey! My name is Rob and I’m a friend of Anthony Saia. We first met about 10 years ago when he was the Music Director at KUOI 89.3 FM at the University of Idaho. I was one of his many college radio promo reps, working at The Syndicate, where Kodi, Bram, myself, and others over the years would send him music for his beloved station. Between 2008 and 2018, Anthony has held virtually every position possible at KUOI – his passion for radio is so true and pure. He’s one of the kindest folks I’ve ever known. A massive lover of music, an incredibly gifted artist, and a dude blessed with an absolutely beautiful soul.

Some years back, Anthony once shared with me a wise observation, passed down from his grandmother, that “God doesn’t give us any more than we can carry.” It’s a testament to his kind-hearted nature that we’ve all experienced.

This Spring, our good bud Anthony revealed that he was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (Blood Cancer), and was beginning immediate treatment. Thankfully, Anthony has health insurance through the state and his doctor is in-network. However, insurance will only cover so much, and the looming financial burden of mounting medical bills is something nobody in his condition should have to shoulder alone. 

Given the scope of his treatment plan, he and his immediate family could really use some assistance from his friends and those in the college radio industry community. He’s always been there for us, so let’s rally around our sweet pal, Anthony.
