Holy Cross School has been invited to represent the state of Maine at Michigan State University!!!
Holy Cross School is proud to be a part of Odyssey of the Mind. Odyssey of the Mind, OM, www.odysseyofthemind.com, is a world wide program design for creative problem solving and using teamwork, collaboration and communication for a team to solve their selected problem.
A group of two 5th graders and four 4th graders represented Holy Cross School at this years OM competition. After placing 3rd, out of 13 for their problem, in the regional competition, Holy Cross School's team advanced to the state competition in Biddeford and came in 1st place!!!! Given this tremendous accomplishment, the girls were invited to compete at the WORLD level at Michigan State University on 5/24 where they will represent the state of Maine and compete against teams from all over the world. This trip will require significant funds to get all kids and at least one parent there, which we need your support to accomplish. Itemized expenses per person: Tickets to the event, $600; Airfare, $250, Attire & Pins, $100, Setup/Shipping, $100.
This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity for these girls and we appreciate your gift to the cause and support of an amazing program like OM!
