Fundraiser for Hayley Davies Bateman cubs fund

Donation protected
Everyone who knew Hayley talks about her strength, courage, kindness and warmth. But the one thing mentioned again and again was her fierce love for her children: Ellie, Willow, Noah, Calla and Tashy.

Now her family is taking care of them, but face the monumental task of supporting five young children for many years to come, while coping with their own grief over losing their daughter, their sister.

Hayley asked us - her friends - to set-up this fund to raise money for her children's future. Knowing we would be doing this one small thing to help, gave her comfort in her last days.

Please help and donate if you can. Our aim is to set up a trust fund to support the children as they grow up. Even if you can afford only a small amount, it all adds up to a brighter, more secure future for Hayley’s family.

If you’re unable to give money, please give your time instead and share this request with your friends and family.

On behalf of Hayley and her family – THANK YOU!

Hayley's sister Amy tells of Hayleys fight with Cancer:

Hayley was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 31 she had surgery, chemotherapy and radiation and as her hair started to grow back and we thought she had fought through it, she was told it had now spread to her liver and was incurable.

Hayley tried everything offered to her to give herself as much time as possible. She did it all with such positivity. However she went on to be told it was in her bones and brain and had treatment for these, she just couldn’t catch a break.

The disease was very aggressive and she had cancer everywhere but still powered on getting up every day being a mummy to her large family.

But eventually, it won and took over her body and she had no fight left as much as she wanted to keep going to see her children grow.

Hayley had the BRcA1 gene so was told at 30 she had an 80% chance of getting breast or ovarian cancer and just a year later that nightmare came true. This is genetic so that means all of her 5 children could carry this gene causing them problems later in life and is especially worrying for her 3 girls.

Hayley's Dad Kim shares about his daughter Hayley

As a father this is the hardest thing I have ever written.

Nothing I say here begins to cover what my daughter was and what she meant to me.

I held Hayley minutes after she was born and held her hand as the cancer finally took Hayley on the 16th of April after a long 2 year fight.

She was an amazing loving mother to all her five children from their birth through to her passing away. Even when she was no longer able to walk or eat because of this horrendous illness she still had time for a kiss and cuddle for each one at bedtime.

All of her children have some part of her in them, especially the girls. At times when they are asked to do something the look and sass I am given is like Hayley is back in the room.

Others will write more eloquently and in more detail about what she had and what she went through, I cannot.

Nor can I express the amount of pain or loss I feel at losing my daughter or how dark every day feels without her or her love of life. For one more cuddle or one more bit of unwanted advice I would give all that I have, the hole she has left in my life is unfillable and I ache for her every day.

To all of you who are reading this, or donating, or passing on the information to family and friends it means Hayley is not forgotten and for that

I thank you most sincerely.
