One year ago, two dads with little knowledge about the sport of volleyball sought out to take a group of girls and challenge them to develop their strengths, overcome obstacles, promote physical fitness, facilitate athletic excellence, and most of all, have fun and experience the importance and value of sportsmanship and teamwork. Venom Gold was born!
Our volleyball team was formed under Venom Volleyball Club and operates under the name Venom Gold. Venom Gold is the first National team in the clubs 11 year history. Most recently, Gold traveled to Las Vegas where the girls were awarded a national bid to return to Vegas where they will be representing AZ to compete in the National Championship Tournament sponsored by USA Volleyball. This is the ultimate goal for any volleyball season and through their hard work, commitment and dedication, they accomplished that!
This is where you can help us continue to reach our goal. Since this tournament was not planned or budgeted for in our season, we could use a little help in getting the girls to Vegas for this milestone event in their sports career. Monies will be used to pay for transportation, lodging and meals for the girls during this 5-day event.
As an organization that strives to provide girls with an opportunity to learn, have fun, and experience the excitement that comes with club sports, we are gratified when others support us in our efforts. We are asking for your support and hope you will be able to assist our club through a donation. Donations of any amount will be accepted and greatly appreciated.
