Please help Doug Martinson!

As friends and family are aware, Doug has been fighting prostate cancer for the past two years with the last year being filled with unexpected complications.

Doug used his vacation and sick time at work as well as used his savings.  When  Doug ran out of paid time off, the brotherhood at the Department of Corrections and Sheriff Deputies stepped up to help him by volunteering their vacation and sick days to him.  They have done this for nearly a year, and are now out of days to donate to him. 

Doug has been very private regarding the financial burden the medical bills as well as the time away from work has truly been to him.  However, now there is no way Doug can continue with no paid time off and ever-growing medical expenses.

It is now time for family and friends to step up and help Doug make ends meet.

As I said, Doug was diagnosed with prostate cancer and underwent radiation over the past two years. The radiation was extremely taxing to his body and caused severe internal burns. Within the past two weeks, Doug has been presented with a new set of challenges including surgery last week resulting in a colostomy bag, and three hospitalizations for unexpected internal bleeding with continued cause for concern.
