Donate to Help Speeder Fight Bone Cancer

Hello everyone, I am raising funds to help pay for cancer treatment and a prosthetic. Last October I was diagnosed with bone cancer in my right leg after a tumor grew and destroyed a huge portion of bone in my tibia. The cancer had spread to my lungs resulting in a classification of “Stage 4” upon diagnosis. I started chemotherapy that same month and moved back from LA to Florida to be with family in December after a couple sessions. My mom has also been fighting cancer and spent all of last year fighting thru chemo and surgery. Thankfully After 4 sessions of chemo my tumor shrunk and the cancer in my lungs went away but my tibia bone is past fixing and our only choice is to remove the entire affected portion from my leg. I will need to use a prosthetic for the rest of my life.  I have been on crutches since April 2022 because the tumor started growing around that time and broke my leg which led to the discovery of said tumor. I was unable to begin any serious treatment for 6 months due to issues with medical insurance.  Since then it has been an incredibly difficult journey but I’d like to thank each and everyone of you who have supported me the whole way. I have now successfully completed six sessions of chemotherapy and my surgery is scheduled. The surgeons will be performing a “rotationplasty” where my foot will be turned around in order to act and function as a new “knee.” This will be a huge adjustment as my life will forever be changed having to adapt to this procedure.  I’d like to thank everyone who has donated and sent words of encouragement, positivity, and resilience. You have all helped me get through this  time in the best possible way, and it has pushed me to keep fighting for my life. The battle is not over (I still have a couple chemo sessions after surgery) but I am looking forward to a full recovery and a new chance at life. This last year has taught me to stay positive despite any circumstance and I am ready to keep on living.
