Please support our efforts to raise enough funds to send volunteers from the DMV area to Ferguson in order to stand in solidaritary with our loved ones during this crucial period. On August 29th, a coalition of committed and compassionate volunteers from the DC metro area will travel to Ferguson, MO to provide on-the-ground support. We are asking each person to give what they can as the date is swiftly approaching.
These funds will help to provide our volunteers with reliable transportation, food, lodging and personal protective wear to defend against immorral police practices on the ground. If you can't be there physically, this is the best way to take action against this broken system and stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters as we peacefully express our grievances and demand justice.
