Help for Nathan

A very dear friend and all around great guy is currently in the hospital. In fact he's been there most of the summer, suffering through gall bladder problems eventually resulting in gall bladder removal surgery. Then post surgery he devolved a c-diff infection that the doctors say they almost didn't catch in time. So back to the hospital. That go-round left him so weak that Nate was transferred to an in-care rehab program because he could no longer get around on his own. He was pushing himself to the limit, still making his friends laugh in spite of everything, and had finally managed to stand up under his own power when he was again rushed to the hospital, this time suffering from a pulmonary embolisum (blood clot in the lung) most likely from being stuck in a hospital bed so long. To add insult to injury, the c-diff infection came back again. And still, he jokes and goofs around and shrugs off any offer of help unless it involves bringing him Dr. Pepper, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups or "real food". 
Once the PE and infection are back under control, Nate won't be going home and back to work. He will be going back to rehab. So, though he isn't using his home, he still has to pay rent and utilities. And even though he isn't driving his car, he still has to make his car payment and pay for insurance. 
Im hoping that if enough people will just donate a few dollars each, at least he can stop worrying about how he is going to do that, and focus on getting better.

update 8/23 

i first want want to thank everyone for their generosity. We are simply blown away. I found out yesterday that Nate's condition is...I don't want to say worse but worse than we'd like, definitely. The PE is in both lungs, not just one, along with low blood pressure and an elevated blood rate. Plus, he's septic, which means the infection is now in his blood stream. So, if all of you could include prayers, love, healing vibes/energy, whatever in this universe you believe in, we'd be so thankful.
