Vet Bills for dog hit by a car

On Friday night, we were driving home and witnessed this poor puppy get hit by a car, and then the car sped off. We took the puppy home, bathed her(8 times due to fleas, ticks and dirt) and brought her to the Vet (VCA Clinic Imperial Point on Commercial Blvd) Initial cost, Just for exam, xrays and tests were over $600. Vet Estimates this dog has been homeless and is approximatly 1 year old and the surgical costs will be approximatly $2500 to $3500. She is a Terrier Mix with the most amazing disposition. I WILL be adopting her, once she is done with the Vet. Unfortunatly, I dont, at this time, have the funds to do this by myself. Any extra monies earned, will be donated to The Pet Project..
