Love for Gina

Although Gina passed, this is still going (see story below).  We are extremely grateful to you all for supporting Gina's boys in this.

Gina was diagnosed with late stage brain cancer (Glioblastoma). She had brain surgery,  and was in the hospital for almost 2 months. When she was released she was medically cleared to have her children in her custody. She was so excited to be with her boys. 

Sadly upon release from the hospital, her children were withheld from her by people who she believed had love for her and her children, citing that it was because of her medical condition. Even tho the doctors not only had no concern of her medical condition making it so she couldn't take care of her boys, but every one of them recommended her boys be in her care and that it would have significantly helped in her healing process. She learned the truth about these people too late. 

She quickly obtained a lawyer and started the process of getting custody of her children. 

During the process of Gina getting an emergency court hearing, she wrote a will. Her wishes were for her mum to raise her boys. This court case is still in process, the non biological people keep contesting every step of the way, even tho Gina was awarded temporary SOLE custody in an emergency court hearing and awarded $9000.00 to be repayed in court fees. She was given a court date in December for permanent sole custody but.... she did not make it til then. Since losing her battle, we have kept up with her wishes, but her mum is being fought in court for her daughter's children.  She was also awarded $5500.00 in court fees. These two court orders are being blatantly disregarded. 

Through this process,  the legal fees have accumulated rapidly over a short period of time. The non biological people who keep dragging this out have fired their own representation and we believe one of the tactics they are using is to drag this out long enough to try to make her give up her legal representation too. Which is futile. We will NEVER give up on the fight for Gina’s wishes, or to give Jude and Javen a life filled with care, love, laughter....and memories of how very much Gina loved them!
