The Costa Foundation is an independent charity with a bold vision: to eradicate poverty in coffee-growing communities.
Education is the key to changing children’s life stories, so we have rolled up our sleeves and got stuck into building schools! They are built in some of the world’s most remote communities, with locations carefully chosen to provide support where it is most needed.
We don’t do things by halves, and we definitely don’t do average. Our fundraising builds quality schools for amazing young people!
Where do you work? The Costa Foundation has already funded more than 80 school projects across 10 different coffee-growing countries.
One important principle of the Costa Foundation is that we never expect anything in return from the communities we help, nor are we driven by business motivations or profit. That is why the charity often supports farmers in areas where Costa are not able to buy coffee.
This year I have challenged myself to complete my local Loch Ness Marathon.
The run will take place in October and by then I should be fully trained and able to hit my target time completion of 3 hours and 20 minutes.
The Loch Ness Marathon follows a spectacular point-to-point route alongside world famous Loch Ness, starting in an atmospheric moorland setting and continues through stunning Highland scenery, taking you along the south-eastern shores of Loch Ness, across the River Ness, to finish in Inverness, capital city of the Highlands.
