Coach Lane's Softball Team Tribute

Recently, the West Oso Community has endured a tragic loss. Christina Susanne Lane, 34, passed away on April 9, 2017. Christina was a teacher/coach at West Oso High School. She was the head coach of the 2016-2017 Lady Bears Softball Team. More importantly, she was a life-changer to these girls. Coach Lane impacted their lives in so many ways on and off the field. In tribute to Coach Lane , we would like to honor her by providing the opportunity for her girls take one last ride together and show up as a team to her memorial services on April 22, 1:00pm at First United Methodist, in Bastrop. As family and friends we would like to collect enough donations to provide these girls with a charter bus transporting them to and from the services in Bastrop. This would mean the world to Coach Lane and her team if we could accomplish this. $1,500 is just an estimate of would it would cost to properly transport the team, but any extra money will be donated directly to the family.  With such short notice,any donations or services will be greatly appreciated, and will go a long way in the hearts of our girls.
