Blue4Sam throwing light on suicide

As many of you will already know I lost my clever amazing beautiful child to suicide on the 4th January this year.... at just 14. The last 9 months have been indescribably painful and full of heartbreak. As October approaches we face the upset of facing my babies 15 birthday and the thought is too hard to even think about..... This year just in this town alone we’ve lost too many young lives to suicide and Ive had the idea for months of getting as many solar lights together as possible and illuminating the whole of the zig zag path, top to bottom.... as a tribute not only to My Mel or Sam as known to friends but to show ppl who are struggling with mental health or families struggling to find help that they are not alone, there is hope.... also raising awareness of charities such as papyrus- who help young ppl with suicidal thoughts.....when I shared the idea with friends and then online asking for donations of solar powered lights I got such a good response that I thought I’d share it with anyone who is interested in showing their support either by donating solar lights or even time on the day to set it all up, or supplying refreshments or anything else you think you could offer..,I will also be organising a funding page in case anyone would like to donate money towards lights instead with any money left over or even collected on the day going to papyrus. I will up date the event and add more details including a place to donate money 4lights as time goes on depending on the response but in the mean time please please.. share share and share again ... and thank you to anyone who has already got it this far ..... #blue4sam #talkaboutsuiside #papyrus
