Giving Music to Honor Aria Joy
Donation protected
We are Marc and Valerie Boehm, parents of infant Aria Joy who was born sleeping on December 7, 2015 at 12:41 pm.
Aria's name means "joyous song", and spreading joy through music is exactly what our goal is in raising this money. Our purpose for this campaign is to create an ongoing scholarship in Aria's name which will be awarded annually to a local student pursing musical opportunities. We will start awarding the scholarship this spring and hope to raise at least $10,000 so that we can continue the scholarship for many years to come.
The arts and education are extremely important to our family. We met at Interlochen Arts Camp during the summer of 2003 and since we both attended Interlochen either on full or partial scholarship, establishing a fund to help a future student be a part of this amazing arts space, or any other enlightening artistic environment, is important to us. Students can apply for this scholarship to help with college expenses, attend a camp, or fund a music project.
We are both musicians, and our daugher inherited that love of music as well. Although she was so tiny, she kicked her mom when music was played, especially "Ave Maria".
We would be so grateful if you could donate to this cause.
