Walk For Daisy
On Sunday 29th August me, some good friends and family will be walking from Rochdale to Hebden Bridge and if that’s not enough, we will be walking back also… a marathon if you will. All in aid of the adorable Daisy
At the moment Daisy is undergoing treatment for a very aggressive leukaemia. Daisy is an absolute warrior and since birth has unfortunately suffered with ill health and has undertaken every operation and hospital stay like a trooper. Unfortunately the treatment she is now undertaking is taking its toll on her. I find it so heartbreaking that her parents Toni and Lance are having to watch their little baby girl go through this, and although no one can do anything to help make this horrendous time any better, if we can help in a small way to try and help financially it might be one less thing for them to worry about. The walk is also to show our support, that we are here for you Toni and Lance and we are so sorry what Daisy and yourselves are going through.
The walk will commence at 9am at the Regal Moon, Rochdale. We will stop for lunch at approximately 1/1.30pm, at the Stubbing Warf, Hebden Bridge, which is by the canal. Anyone is welcome to join us, for all of the walk or just part of it, also if you just want to cheer us on!!
All donations will be grateful received, no matter the size of donation. If we can raise as much as possible, that would be amazing, but also to show Toni and Lance how much we all care, as much as they must feel alone at this time, with having to stay away from people to avoid passing anything on to Daisy, they are anything but alone.
Thank you for your donations and feel free to leave words of support for Toni and Lance ❤️
