Erica Bills Medical Fund

Erica’s story: I am a 36 year old wife and mother of 3. I have an amazing husband who is an officer for the Shelby County Sherriff’s Department and we have a 16 year old daughter (Bree) , 9 year old son (Jackson), and newborn (2 month old, Hensley). I found the lump when I was pregnant and was told it was a blocked milk duct. When Hensley was born I said something to the hospital staff and was told the same thing.  A few weeks after having Hensley I was sent to another Dr. who sent me to have a mammogram and after my mammogram and biopsy I was diagnosed with cancer. I’ve been diagnosed with HER2 (human epidermal growth factor receptor 2) breast cancer that is between stages 2 and 3 and its 10cm and in my lymph nodes. I started chemo a week after I got my diagnosis.  I'm getting treated here in Memphis, but being monitored by MD Anderson.  My chemo will end at the beginning of June then will have surgery in July.  After I heal from surgery I'll have 6 weeks of radiation and then I'll have my reconstruction surgery.
