CDP Pastor Retreat Center

In recent years several surveys have shown that most pastors are discouraged. Steve Hewitt, president of Christian Digital Publishers, Inc and editor of Christian Computing and The American Church Magazines for the past 25 years and a pastor himself for over 15 years, knows the struggles that face pastors today. Most are burnt out, discouraged and in need of a break and a chance to renew. Steve believes that God has given him a mandate to purchase 32 acres in Cass County Missouri near Garden City to establish a retreat center that will house not only our corporate office/residence, but also provide up to three different cabins to house pastors and their wives for a time of solace, peace and quiet with no cost to any of the attendees. Each cabin will be self-contained with a king size bedroom, a full bath with Jacuzzi tub, fully furnished kitchen and large living area with a fireplace/stove. Secluded in 32 acres of woods the pastors will have time to relax and reconnect with the call God has placed on their life. Also, Steve and his staff will be available to encourage and give guidance based on the training he and his staff have received over the years.

The property that we wish to purchase is $105,000. We wouldn't ask anyone to help us purchase the first 10 acres. That is where we will be moving our corporate office/residence. So, we are putting up the first $35,000. However, we need help in purchasing the rest of the property, and no gift is too low. We need to raise $70,000 as soon as possible to secure the property and begin our move. Any money donated to Christian Digital Publishers through GoFundMe will be designated and only used to obtain the extra property for our Pastor Retreat Center. We hope to start work on the first cabin as soon as we have relocated to the property.
