Seventy Tanks

Yud shevat, Chabad Lubavitch, together with the entire world will be marking 70 years to the date the Rebbe assumed the mantle of leadership of  Lubavitch. 

To honor this unique milestone, the mitzva tank office will be holding a mitzva tank parade with seventy RV’s which will be parading across Brooklyn and Manhattan displaying our Jewish pride and encouraging the passerby’s to put on tefillin; the estimated number of tefillin for this day stands at approximately 15,000.

we spent over $70,000. {About $800 for every rv rental with gas and tolls, plus $5000 for signs, $4000 for advertisment, $2000 for food, $1500 for cleanup, $1000 for tape, $3000 for renting 11 mini vans to control the parade, over $3000 on lots of small details that all add up.}
All the money is being handled by our treasurer,  yisroel lazar, he has payed and will continue to pay with the money coming in over here. please help us pay the costs for the beutifull parade you all enjoyed.
