Ukrainian Refugee Support

Tax deductible
The Cross Foundation has announced a fundraising effort for Ukrainian refugees in the Diocese of Tarnow, Poland.

More than 2 million Ukrainian citizens have been forced to flee their homeland due to the conflict in their country, many of whom have migrated into Poland, burdening that nation's resources.

The Cross Foundation is creating this fundraiser so that our local community and our neighbors near and far can take action to help those affected by this crisis. We’re continually inspired by the kindness and generosity of Christians around the world who want to help those in need. The Cross Foundation is committed to supporting those affected by this crisis, and we are coordinating a support fund with Fr. Marcin Kokoszka, a Priest based in Tarnow, Poland. As the Finance Steward for the Diocese of Tarnow, Fr. Marcin serves an area approximately 100 miles from the Ukraine border. He is overseeing the distribution of donations to the Ukrainian refugees ensuring they have necessities such as food, housing, and more.

This fundraising effort is being coordinated through The Cross Foundation, based in Effingham, Illinois. All donations will directly benefit the Ukrainian refugees in the Diocese of Tarnow.

Fr. Marcin will be in Effingham, IL, March 19-20, 2022, and is being hosted by Sacred Heart Parish. Below are some photos of refugees whom he has already helped.

Donations will be accepted through Sunday, April 10, 2022.
