Wounded Warrior needs a wheelchair adapted vehicle

Spende geschützt
Sgt. Seeley (retired) actively served our country for over nine years. He was injured while on a combat mission in Iraq. He has a spinal cord injury and he is in a wheelchair. He is still in the process of transitioning from active duty, to civilian life, after being medically retired. It has been a difficult process with his disabilities, but he remains positive and determined. He recently became a member of the Cal-Diego Paralyzed veteran of America. They have been assisting him with his transition, and have become his advocate. Sgt. Seeley volunteers his time to contribute back to the Cal-Diego PVA, and support their mission "to improve the quality of life for veterans who have spinal cord injury or disease," like himself. He is committed to raising awareness of veteran everywhere, to the benefits of being involved, with the PVA. Sgt. Seeley believes that being involved with the PVA allows many veterans to maintain a certain level of comradery that can be lost when separating from the Marine Corps, or other branches of the armed forces. This loss of comradery can often be one of the most difficult parts transitioning from active duty to civilian life. Owning an adaptive vehicle would greatly improve Sgt. Seeley's quality of life, and allow him to be further involved with the Cal-Diego PVA. He does not currently have an adaptive vehicle and this limits his independence. He was previously entered in a contest to win an adapted vehicle, but unfortunately did not win. Several people expressed the desire to help out with Sgt Seeley's situation, and that is why this page was created. Thank you!!
