Help for Aidan Reil

In early September, my 8 year old cousin Aidan started having seizures. After some tests, they diagnosed him with Cortical Dysplasia which they then tried treating with medication. Mid October they were back in the hospital because he was having seizures and they ended up staying the night so they could monitor him. He got to go home the next day with an appointment in November at Sick Kids for a more in depth MRI to see what was going on. Scans showed he had a big mass on his brain. So they decided yesterday, November 30th, to open him up and get a biopsy to figure out what it is. They took out a chunk of his skull the size of an orange, and when they were in there, they found out it was too big, and inoperable. They took some for biopsy and replaced his skull with a titanium plate which he will now have for life. Still having seizures after surgery, I really hope they figure out what this is and stop this nightmare for the family. Praying to God that every thing is going to be perfectly fine for Aidan and that it's not cancerous. Asking for any donations to help go towards anything my family needs for Aidan such as the constant drives from Belleville area to Toronto, and any medications to help with Aidons pain.
