Louis and Erika’s IVF fund 2 weeks till D-Day

Louis and Erika are a couple like any other in so many ways, young, in love, striking out making a life together. Over the past few years Erika’s health has deteriorated to the point where insane pain and regular overnighters, for her, are just part of their routine. At the age of 17 Erika was diagnosed with Endometriosis and polycystic ovaries, which in itself makes conceiving a child, really difficult, couple that with Louis’ being born with an incredibly rare physical defect which means he too can not conceive naturally, then this story becomes incredibly sad. They managed to get the money together for a single go at IVF which they were talked into believing would be enough. So long and short of this story is that they qualify in every way for IVF on the NHS but Erika who has always lived in North Essex Health Care’s territory as she grew up in Feering, but the surgery she was registered at was in the neighbouring village of Kelvedon which doesn’t fall into the same Healthcare trust...so she only registered with a doctor in the North Essex Healthcare Trust area in September last year (11 months) and a minimum of 12 months is required to fulfil the criteria for IVF so after all of the tests and pain she endured every single day clinging on to her uterus they wriggle out of the treatment on a technicality. Erika is a mother without a child, if you met her and saw her with kids you’d see what I mean. My boys instantly gravitated to her from the moment they met. Please help us try and make this girls dreams come true, this really is last minute.com as the NHS on rejection of their IVF application have scheduled a hysterectomy for her for 2 weeks time unless they can get the funds together for another shot at implanting. These are good people and at just 21 their dream can’t be snatched away, they deserve a baby and I am going to try my best to make this happen please please share this and help me to help them.

through all of the appeals with exceptional funding requests from my consultant
however since the answer is no so if we
applied again we would be put at the back of a 3+ year waiting list when I don’t have
the time x”
