Hello I'm Charles Neely and I live in Little Rock, Arkansas. I'm 61 years old, I got one helluava wake call. on November 2nd I had a life-changing experience I was told that I would have to have heart bypass surgery. It really shocked my world. I went home that night thinking about all the horror stories of surgery, but little did I know that the scheduled operation date would be pushed up because that Saturday morning, as I tried to sleep, my heart started beating much too rapidly. I was immediately rushed to the Little Rock Central Arkansas Veterans Hospital where the doctors told me they would have to operate once they opened up my right arm and inserted a catheter to my heart. The situation then turned worse and I had to make a choice after they saw the results. Since the operation required a specialist the VA hospital system could not handle, the bypass operation was performed by the Arkansas Heart Hospital, by Dr. Penny Wells. The doctors had informed me there were going to be highs and lows after the operation and they told the truth. I’m posting some photos of the aftercare and I'll be posting more pictures as time goes by and videos about my recovery. This heart surgery has changed my life like nobody would believe and for that I need the help of all of my Instagram, Facebook and YouTube families. I won’t be able to work any longer at my previous job which required heavy lifting. I’m going to try to apply for some disability assistance if I can get some help doing that but that could take a long time.
