We are a small group of people involved in urban farming in Buffalo. We have a long abandoned, 19th century brick building adjacent to one of our farm sites which we are working to rehab to include a farmer's market, a commercial kitchen, a regular market stand, and a small cafe.
The money we are seeking to raise will be spent on masonry improvements to the structure. There is a great deal of brick pointing, chimney repair or removal, and a few voids to be filled in the brick exterior.
We are going to have the work done by professional masons this calendar year, before winter returns. We also need to make other significant improvements to the structure of the building before winter.
This gofundme campaign will provide a great boost to our total efforts and help contribute to the revitalization of this building.
