The love of my life has just been diagnosed with Autonomic Dysfunction and is at a pretty advanced stage. Doctors say she has only 6-7 years left according to statistics and could face many difficulties such as being wheelchair bound, having a lot of surgeries and a feeding tube put in from not being able to swallow. Regardless of what doctors say- we believe that through the power of LOVE and ENERGY....anything is possible. We believe that she CAN and WILL be healed! And we are taking the holistic, herbal and homeopathic route. Unfortunately- it is very time consuming and costly and her insurance does not believe in nor does it cover any of these practices...so everything will be out of pocket. We need your help financially so Samantha can begin on the road to recovery ASAP outside of what all we are already doing.
A little over 4 months ago life just seemed perfect. I mean, sure there were signs leading up to this...a lot of signs actually...that warned us something was wrong but we never would have thought it would come down to this. She has been bed-ridden, has seen 18 doctors, been to 8 different specialists, has had 5 ER visits (3 of which were by ambulance) and just got released from a 4 day stay at the hospital. To me...I never knew life could shift so drastically like this...It is as if one second she is schooling me in basketball- the next I am helping her get to the bathroom because she does not have the physical strength to support herself without my assistance around the clock.
She has what we call episodes...where her body spasms all over such as what you see when a pregnant lady's baby kicks hard from the inside. She has severe tremors and her blood pressure fluctuates from extreme hypertension to hypotension within seconds and a heart rate of 145 beats per minute just standing still. Her extremities go numb and tingly and she starts to lose her vision in one or both eyes. Her heart palpitates and she does all she can to stay in the moment and not go unconscious. It is terrifying, painful and heart breaking to see her go through this. I can not even begin to imagine what all SHE is feeling.
Samantha is the most positive, uplifting person I know. I call her my Guru- because she has shown me and so many others about life and living your purpose. She cares so much for everyone and everything and always admires what most of us typically would take for granted. She refuses to let a doctor (or anyone else) dictate her future. We believe in the power of intention and her will power to live a healthy, abundant life is very profound. We will start this journey through weekly sessions of Reiki, Sound Healing, Meditation, Bed-Yoga, Anti-Gravity Cardiovascular Training, Pool Therapy and more.
