'Giant Killers' is back on the court!
Synopsis: The mid- 30’s were an era of change and uncertainty. In Germany, the Nazi’s were staging massive book burnings. The first drive-in theater opened in New Jersey, Bonnie and Clyde were killed in an ambush in Louisiana, Porky Pig and Donald Duck made their national debut, America was in the midst of the great depression.
In Bellfountain Oregon, a small school of 27, attempted to smite Goliath and win the State Basketball Championship.
The odds were unimaginable.
In the 1930's, all basketball teams competed in the same division. Bellfountain, a school of 27 total students, had to compete against Franklin High of Portland (2,100 students) and Lincoln High of Portland (1,728 students) in the state championship.
When they were seniors, their head coach would leave the team. Their best player had broken his shooting arm. They would lose their dream.

Interview with Harry Wallace
92 year old Harry Wallace: Harry was the last surviving member of the 1937 Bellfountain Boys State Basketball Championship team
Here Harry talks about his only venture into amateur wrestling.
He went to a local park where they had an amateur wrestling ring set up. No one would wrestle the larger opponent so Harry thought he could stay away from him with his agility.
Little did he know.
