Evergreen Park Cleanup and Preserve

Evergreen Park in Sheboygan, WI was vandalized sometime between Thursday night May 28th and the moring of Friday May 29th.  They spray painted (Tagged) over 100 items in the park and at the Quarry across the street.  Some with rude images and proganity.  More information found on the story that can be read HERE . 

It is going to cost money and time to clean up and the park is shorthanded they will have 2 people cleaning it up.  And who is to pay for this?  The clean-up effort will involve a lot of repainting, sandblasting, power-washing and, in some instances, replacing of bathrooms, garbage receptacles, roadways, posts and signs. 

I believe that as a commuity who frequently uses the park and is one of Sheboygan's best.  We need to stand up and support it so that it is in the best shape it possibly can be in.  We need to show the punks who thought it was a good idea to ruin something for people that we are stronger and better than them. 

That is why I propose this.  To get some donations together to help the park pay for the damages and to show them what the park means to the community.  I grew up hanging out at the park and do not want to see it disgraced in this matter.

Possibly they could get funding to setup some security measures so that this does not happen again.
