For anyone reading this, I want to tell you a little bit about myself so you know why this means so much to me.
Like any little girl, thinking of what I wanted to be when I grew up changed, except for one thing. Acting. If I thought I wanted to be a vet, or traveler or interpreter, or ambassador, the one I held into my highest esteem was acting. I entered high school and for two years in a row, received rejection into being in a play or musical. But I kept going. Junior year, finally! I stuck with it. Senior year and I'm in again! It was also time to go into what I wanted to do. I got into the school of my dreams but couldn't afford it. An acting school. But it was private and in LA. I couldn't afford it. Not even with everything that I received as help. It was hard to accept that reality, but now I'm 20, working and going to community college when I have time or money for it, but not once have I forgotten or given up on becoming an actress.
I have so much support and love from friends and family who believe in me. There nothing I have worked so hard for in my life than acting.
This is where you all come in; I've been invited to a big competition in LA called IPop. It's my chance to show agents, and casting directors what I can do.
I will continue to work and save my own money, but I can't do this on my own.
So, any money that you can donate, I will be forever grateful because you helped me to go towards my dream.
