Ethan's Scout Trip to Japan

こんにちは
Kon'nichiwa.
I have been a member of the Boy Scouts of America for almost 6 years. I spent four years in Cub Scouts and this year is my second year with Troop 12 Drum & Bugle Corps. Troop 12 was founded in 1915 by Masanobu Morisuye and is sponsored by three Japanese Christian Churches here in San Francisco.
This summer, Troop 12 is hoping to send at least 12 Boy Scouts on a three week trip to Japan. During this trip, we will be participating in various service projects, doing a home stay, and possibly attending the 2015 World Scout Jamboree. If I can go on this trip it would mean a lot to me! I will be able to learn about the culture of Japan and my troop’s heritage. I will also get to help out a few of the people of Japan by doing service projects for them. We may even get to attend the 23rd World Scout Jamboree which will be held in Kirara-hama.
I would really appreciate it if you could help me reach my goal.

A note from Ethan’s Mom and Dad:
We are very proud of Ethan's dedication and commitment to Boy Scouts. He attends Scout meetings on Friday nights for 2 hours and then on Saturday mornings he practices with the Drum and Bugle Corps for 3 hours. Troop 12 has really helped him to grow in his discipline and leadership, and we think going to Japan is a fantastic opportunity for him to grow even more. Thank you so very much for helping us send Ethan to Japan.
