Emergency Move
Donation protected
Hello everyone. Some of you may know me. Most of you don't. This is an appeal for help. Due to a combination of unfortunate circumstances, I am having to move very rapidly. I have a handful of apartments in mind, but I do not have the money right now for the initial expenses (security deposit, first month's rent, etc.) This is where I need your help.
A little bit about me: I am 31 years old and live in Bryan/College Station, Texas. I am an avid gamer (of all kinds), reader and all around geek. I like animals of all kinds, but I love cats (That's me in the picture with a couple of my rescue kittens. They are much bigger now!) I love crafting and creating with a special place in my heart for yarn and crochet. I dream of going back to school and getting a degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant as I want very badly to have a career where I can actually help people and see the progress they make.
Earlier this year, I fell ill for four months with unbearable pain. Over a dozen ER visits, more tests than I can keep track of, numerous doctor's visits, and two surgeries later, I found out that my gallbladder had been chronically inflamed for years. I am feeling much better now, but recovery from the surgery and getting back to work has been slow.
I am working as a substitute teacher in CSISD. I enjoy it very much as I like interacting with the kids.
I know this isn't the standard fundraiser appeal. I don't really have the usual chronic disease appeal for pity. But I need help nonetheless. Anything you can give would be greatly appreciated.
