Help Alissa Get her Aggie Ring

Donation protected
Howdy,
My name is Ashley. I am Alissa's older sister. I am raising money for her to purchase her Aggie ring. Alissa is a member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2014. Throughout college, Alissa worked 2 jobs to help pay for her school. With the cost of Aggie rings skyrocketing, getting a ring was simply a luxury she could not afford.
Throughout high school, many of Alissa's teachers thought she would never attend college. Even more of her teachers would have never expected her to graduate from a 4-year college, especially one as prestigious as Texas A&M University. But once Alissa entered Texas A&M, that Aggie spirit took over her and she found a purpose. She decided that she wanted to change the lives of high school students who, like her, never would dream they could go to college.
She graduated with a degree in English in May 2014, and is currently pursuing her masters in education, while she works for the Cy-Fair school district. Because of her new job, she had to move into an apartment by herself. She currently has her matress laying on the floor. Our family was going to pitch in to buy her a bed for Christmas, but now she has said that she would like money for Christmas so that she can save up for her Aggie ring. I don't want my little sister to have to chose between having furniture for her home, and feeling like a good Ag.
I could tell at graduation that she was a little disappointed when they had the ceremony to turn the Aggie rings around. But Alissa is a little ray of sunshine and that moment of disappointment was fleeting and likely unkonwn to anyone who doesn't know her well. If I had the money I would purchase it for her. Unfortunately I am in pharmacy school pursuing my PharmD.
There are not many possessions in the world more treasured to an Aggie than an Aggie ring. We are taught to put that ring as one of our top college goals from the first day of freshman orientation. Please help my sister get rewarded for all her hard work thoughout college by donating any amount towards helping her get her aggie ring.
Thank you so much.

*Note, I am unsure of what an Aggie ring is running these days since the Association of Former Students is currently waiting on updated prices from Balfour. The goal amount is mearly an estimate based on prices I know other Ags have paid for their women's rings.
