Hello Friend,
I recently suffered the rupture of an Achille’s Tendon while working out in Central Park in Summer 2014. This was a major shock to my physical, emotional and spiritual being. This is what I realized was an AH HA moment in my life.
I am grateful and so very humbled by the kindness of family, new and old friends who have “stepped to the plate” as caring, loving human beings during this time. People who, in a multitude of ways, have come to my aid in this strange period of vulnerability.
I would have chosen another manner in which to get this life lesson. However, I would not trade the repeated blessings of kindness I have received.
The truth to all this revelation is that I still need more HELP! Although, I was (thankfully) covered by insurance at the time of injury, it is not enough to cover the entire cost of complete rehabilitation.
I was gifted with the friendship of two super talented artists who have taken their personal time to compile a beautiful video of some of the amazing experiences I have had so far on this road to recovery. Another blessing! Just awesome! Take a look!
I would appreciate any monetary donation (big or small) you can make to help me cover some of the escalating medical costs in the rebuilding of Derek AGILE Jones.
